ABC 57 Does A Story On Hello Gorgeous!
In November of 2020 Mary from ABC 57 contacted us about doing a story on Hello Gorgeous! in conjunction with Giving Tuesday. We were excited to have the exposure to continue to share the mission of Hello Gorgeous!
We gave Mary a tour of the office and of the Mobile Day Spa. We shared with her the stories of the women that we have helped smile when they look in the mirror, in spite of their cancer journey.
A month ago, Mary reached out to us again to ask if she could once again spot light Hello Gorgeous! She shared that her producer wanted her to cover some good news stories in our area. When Mary contacted me, she said that we left a lasting impression on her all those months ago.
I was tickled that she wanted to continue the conversation about the work that we do with Hello Gorgeous! I wanted to share how we have continued to help women battling cancer even in the midst of a pandemic and how we were able to pivot. In spite of the Coronavirus, we were able to help more women battling cancer.
Last week Mary came to the office and had the opportunity to interview Juanita, a Gorgeous! woman that received a makeover in August of 2020 and we had the opportunity to talk with Tammy, who nominated Juanita for her makeover.
Mary was at our office for almost 2 hours. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
