I loved the opportunity to interview Michael Sherlock for my podcast.

Don’t be fooled by the name, the hair color, or crazy shoes. Michael is serious about business. She is dedicated to creating positive, productive, and profitable workplaces, and helping individuals, and businesses unlock their ultimate potential. Before launching her global training company, Shock Your Potential, Michael was Vice President of US Sales for two multi-national medical device companies, responsible for net revenue exceeding $75 million annually and as many as 500 employees at a time. Michael is recognized internationally as an expert in leadership and sales, and is the best-selling author of two books, Tell Me More – How to Ask the Right Questions and Get the Most Out of Your Employees and Sales Mixology – Why the Most Potent Sales and Customer Experiences Follow a Recipe for Success.
Michael opened my eyes to so many things during our interview, that I was taking notes.
Here are a few of the nuggets that I took away from out interview.
I am a big proponent of "I AM" statements. When Michael did this exercise with her team, she had them added an " I WILL" to their "I AM" statements. How much more powerful is your "I AM" statement when you add an "I WILL" to it?
