Mike's Birthday Card

I was blessed to be married to an amazing man for 23 and 3/4 years. The biggest blessing that I received, besides my son, was that Michael and celebrated our birthdays together. His birthday was March 6th and my birthday is March 7th.
For more than 25 years we had to opportunity to share that special day with each other. I always told him that God placed our birthdays that close together so that he wouldn’t forget when my birthday was.
We had decided that our birthdays would be an experience, so we always planned a vacation around our special days. One year we were at Disney, one year we were white water rafting and another year we were in London. We made some incredible memories and I am so grateful to have those!
It was such a blow the first birthday that I had to celebrate by myself after Mike died. I couldn’t imagine not celebrating with him on his special day. I had to come up with an idea that would celebrate him.
I was meeting a friend for after work one evening and I floated this idea past her.
Mike was a giver, a selfless giver. I asked myself what would he love to do. That is when I came up with the idea of the random act of kindness day. He would have loved nothing more than to run around town showing people some love.
This is the 5th year that I will celebrate with out Mike but I am so excited that we get to continue to celebrate him.
Join us on March 6th, 2022 for our annual Random Acts of Kindness day to celebrate and amazing man that would have been 61 years old this year.
