These Women Inspire Me!!!

I remember several years after Michael was diagnosed with his liver disease, anytime he saw someone struggling he would always say "I am the luckiest guy walking."   

Michael was always grateful for his disease.  He said that it positively changed his perspective.  He never asked why me.  

Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet an amazing woman that has an incredibly positive mindset.  Julie is kind, spunky, and a sucker for boutiques!!!  She is also a 5-time cancer survivor.  And her attitude and courage inspire me.  

Julie had a Hello Gorgeous! Makeover in 2018.  I loved hearing all about her HG experience and the impact that it had on her. 

When I asked Julie how she gets through her tough days she told me that she heads straight for the bible.  

Her go-to verse is   Philippians 4:6-8

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.  Finally, brothers, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
