Sometimes You Forget the Reason That You do What You do!

Have you ever worked at something and forgotten why you were working as hard as you were working? 

That is how I feel most days.  I work at the computer and in the office to make the magic of Hello Gorgeous! Happen, but very rarely see the fruits of our labor in person.   Either a virtual makeover is sent to a woman who is battling cancer and the makeover takes place in the privacy of her home or a salon affiliate takes care of a woman battling cancer in their salon somewhere in the continental United States.  

Today we had the opportunity to truly make some magic happen in our office. 

Our friend Dave from Aardvark Pest Control reached out to us about helping his friend Teri who had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and was having a tough time with the physical appearance that her cancer treatment had left her with. 

Teri and 3 of her friends came to the office today for a little girlie pampering.  

We blessed Teri with a wig and then Trisha applied skincare, did a full face makeup application on her and educated her on how to use the items that were in her virtual makeover box. 

I can not believe the transformation that took place in front of my eyes. It was amazing!!!!  

Teri and her friends were so appreciative of our time together.  We laughed, we cried and then we prayed. 

It was a beautiful morning that made me realize the amazing gift that God has given to me to bless these women during such a time as this.
